Spuzzum Nation has land along the highway that may prove viable for long term housing needs. This could provide housing and construction opportunities for band members.

A feasibility study is underway to establish a camp on the lake lands as an Indigenous healing centre.

Recent feasibility studies reflect a viable development opportunity at what is now Alexandra Bridge Provincial Park, with RV and tenting sites, as well as cabins. Included in the planning are interpretive displays telling the story of Spuzzum Nation over the last 150 years.
